ALS Safety Ltd was founded in March 2009 by Darren and Jessica Verschuren. Both founders had spent the majority of their careers up to that date working for some of the major training companies within the industry. They identified a gap in the market for a high quality, cost effective Health & Safety training provider with a flexible approach; offering training on evenings, weekends and at short notice.
ALS Safety opened its doors in the midst of the worst recession in living memory. In spite of these difficult trading conditions ALS Safety Ltd quickly gained an excellent reputation within the industry working with clients both large and small. Within two years the Wembley training centre was so successful that a new centre located in Bracknell was opened. This was followed in 2013 by the latest training centre (and home of the main admin office) in Leeds with satellite centres in the Midlands and Lancashire. The business plan aims to have training centres in Wales and Scotland by 2016.
ALS Safety Ltd is a family owned business with family values. Training is the core business and not a bolt on to a hire business. We believe that our service and flexibility is second to none and our expertise in the Working at Height and Health and Safety Training Industry is one of the best available.
